Security & Force Protection

IRG can provide your organization with several different security options. First, IRG can assist you in evaluating your needs and creating policies and procedures for your organizations daily security. Second, IRG can provide additional security in times of need, such as labor strikes and high risk terminations. IRG can also assist you in transporting valuable assets from one location to another.

IRG can assist you with developing a security program from the ground up and/or testing your existing security and creating post orders, so that each member of your security team understands what their responsibility is at all times.

IRG excels at providing security operators for day to day operations and special events, such as conferences, conventions, trade shows, sporting events, concerts, auctions, social engagements, public hearings, etc. IRG can provide as many or as few security officers as needed, quite often on a moment’s notice if necessary. In these situations our focus is on maintaining a professional appearance at all times, being a visible deterrence and reacting to any situations that arise.

IRG can provide operators and vehicles to patrol various facilities, such as malls, strip shopping centers, industrial parks, construction sites, etc. Our focus is on maintaining a constant presence throughout each facility by ensuring that the officer is always patrolling and consistently monitors key areas.

IRG operators are available for both short and long term security assignments. IRG operators will dress to the needs of the assignment that can range from low profile plainclothes to high profile para military style. IRG operators are trained to escort individuals and motorcades carrying large amounts of valuable assets, including jewelry, cash, real property, etc. Our operators are highly trained at providing the highest levels of security, while not impeding the daily routine of the person or organization being protected. We are expert at identifying and reacting to any potential situation without endangering the client or the assets.

This is just a partial list of the types of organizations that IRG has provided services for:

Force Protection is the protection of workforce personnel (military or civilian), equipment and supplies, during deployment in hostile areas or in areas afflicted by natural disaster and the associated chaos that inevitably follows.

There are three main elements to Force Protection:

Protective Security Detail

Whenever a member of any workforce is required to travel from one place to another, within a hostile environment, the need for PSD teams or Protective Security Detail teams arises. IRG operators are trained to advanced level and beyond in the six main skill sets that are required for protection details:

Many of our PSD operators have extensive experience in theatres such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Central America, South America, etc and have worked on details involving government dignitaries, foreign diplomats, military commanders and civilians alike.

Our Force Protection teams will provide round the clock protection, ensuring that our client’s workforces can operate in a safer environment. We employ state of the art counter-measures coupled with aggressive, pro-active measures designed to deter and counter any terrorist attack on our client’s base of operations.

Convoy Security

Whether your convoy is carrying personnel or supplies, IRG force protection services will be there to assure the safety of the entire convoy. Meticulous planning, coupled with the employment of tried and trusted immediate action drills and countermeasures will ensure that your vehicles get through to where they are needed.

Static Site / Perimeter Security

The effective provisioning of perimeter security involves much more than simply placing a few 'guards' on a fence line... ...perimeter security as provided by IRG incorporates the following elements:

Currently, IRG has several elite, Disaster Recovery Protection Units (DRPU's) comprising of between 6 and 8 PSD specialists. These teams are available for rapid deployment anywhere in the world. Due to the problems posed by flying our teams into the Gulf Coast (inability to carry large amounts of necessary equipment, etc) our teams are deployed by road and can arrive onsite with all the necessary equipment and supplies to be almost totally self sufficient within 72 hours of activation.
